Comments from attendees:

Hanumath P Duvvuri - Thanks for inviting us to the tournament . We all really enjoyed playing games .

Tom Scobbie - Many thanks for a super day from both Claire and myself.
The planning, organisation, management and delivery of the above event was a tremendous success for all concerned. Every aspect of what you'd look for in such a tournament was there; there was fun during the matches in the preliminary rounds leading through the quarters and the semi's to what where exceptionally close and exciting finals played out at a very high standard. What contributed to the whole event was the setup and presentation of the finals and the umpiring carried out in such a professional manner led by Jazz Bedi. For all intents and purposes it was just like being at the nationals with the atmosphere generated. Many new friends were made on Sunday and I have no doubt that future events will be well supported.

Carol Ann Hammond - What a fantastic days sport we all had at the tryst on Sunday. The badminton was great, the company was new. I tried my best to say hello to as many new faces as possible, it was nice to see different towns represented. I didn`t realise that you had an advertising budget to promote the tournament, but it did make the day feel more distinct with new groups.

Even though I would describe my own badminton ability as social, I was not made to feel out of place, all the players, regardless of their superior playing ability, were gracious and curteous towards me and my partner. I did not win many of my games but this had little effect on my enjoyment. Every game we played we were made to feel like real professional sportswomen, it was fab, and when it came to the finals, we were blown away with the respect shown to the match and the players, pity the TV missed it.

I felt that the organisers were in charge and every body was kept properly informed of the days events and structure and even though I didn`t win a prize(though I tried my best) I felt like an olympic champion, fit, healthy, motivated and repected. I would also like to say on a personal note, how much playing badminton, keeps me fit. I am by no means an athlete, but taking part in badminton makes me feel good and in its own wee way keeps me looking good(my glutes were very well excersied)as if that would be difficult.

Keep up the good work and well done to you and Allan.
