XS Taekwon-do Students competed at the recent Unified ITF WORLD Championships at the University of Hertfordshire campus on the outskirts of London and they proved once again that they had the X Factor by achieving outstanding results.
From the youngest to the oldest the quality of performance was of an exceptional standard proving that XS Taekwondo has something for everyone.
The UITF World Championships were held over a three day timetable at the De Havilland campus with 21 countries competing from as far as South Africa, USA, Australia and Argentina.
Miss Marie McAneny (5thdegree International Instructor) led her 23 strong team of both Black Belt and Coloured Belt students of all ages to compete. The weekend proceedings began on the Thursday evening with the “weigh in”. Following the team brief a presentation was made to Miss McAneny to celebrate the 20thAnniversary of the club.
